David Cho Museum & Library is aiming collecting, reserving and exhibition of the historical records and documents of Dr. David J. Cho, a vigorous advocate of Non-Western world missionary movement and development of leadership for new forces in mission cooperation between the East and the West since 1960, and to set the academic space for studies and research of David Cho Missiological Institute (DCMI).

David Cho Museum & Library is located on hilltop of the Pauline House where was the site of the East-West Center for Missions Research & Development (EWC.mrd) until 1999 since 1973. The Pauline House was established for the development of the leadership of new forces in mission, sprung up from Non-Western world, by Dr. David J. Cho. Since 1973 of its opening of the EWC/mrd, over 50 worldly known missiology scholars were served as faculty from all over the world and has trained over 1,5000 mission leaders of Non-Western world. The Pauline House became the cradle of mission from Non-Western world where the center of global network and mutual cooperation through serving an instrumental in formation of the Asia Missions Association (AMA) in 1975 and the Third World Missions Association (TWMA) in 1989.

Dr. David J. Cho, step down from all of his international position of missionary movement on the age of 75, transferred all the rights of the Pauline House to Global Mission Society (GMS) of the Presbyterian Church of Korea. The Board of GMS resolved to establish the David Cho Museum & Library (DCML) and to set up the David Cho Missiological Institute (DCMI) for the purpose of Study of world mission history.
